Tubelined Tiles
Our exclusive range of hand painted tubelined fireplace tiles are manufactured in the traditional way. Our tiles traditionally measure 152mm (6”) square, with five individual tiles making up a tile run and two tile runs making up a full set to suit a typical cast-iron fireplace.
Our special tile biscuits are capable of withstanding the heat of a fireplace and were used originally in a fireplace (set at an angle) to reflect additional heat into your room. Of course, they were also intended to add some decoration.
Some tile sets, such as Field Poppy, Mediterranean Poppy and Luscia, have a left and right handed mirror image design. Some of the tile sets are also reproduced as cast-iron sleeve panels for those requiring a more subdued look.
Our tiles, being individually painted and glazed, will be subject to some colour variation and normal crazing.
